Job Summary
Support the Pharmacy Team in delivering pharmaceutical care across the hospital by assisting with the safe handling, storage, and movement of medicines. Manage stock control activities, update electronic records, and ensure medicines are supplied accurately to patients and departments. Communicate effectively with colleagues and patients while maintaining high standards of health, safety, infection prevention, and security. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and support compliance with healthcare regulations and policies. Work on a bank contract with flexible shifts based on business needs, covering busy periods, sickness, or annual leave.
Required Qualifications
- Previous customer-facing experience
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good organisational and administrative skills
- Experience working within a team environment
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and other computer systems
- Basic awareness of health, safety, and hygiene practices
- Ability to work accurately and follow procedures

Desired Qualifications
- Previous pharmacy experience
- S/NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services (or working towards the qualification)
- Experience within a healthcare or hospital environment
- Experience in stock management, checking, monitoring, and administrative processes
