Job Summary
Prepare operating theatres for surgery by managing instrumentation, equipment, and supplies while minimizing waste. Run theatre lists without supervision and supervise or mentor junior staff as permitted by experience. Perform anaesthetic duties, including recovery experience, and develop skills across various surgical procedures such as orthopaedic, general, and cosmetic surgery. Spire Hull and East Riding Hospital serves patients across East Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire, providing a range of clinical services including radiology and physiotherapy.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified ODP/Nurse with an Anaesthetic Module
- NMC or HCPC registered with no restrictions on your pin
- At least 1 year Anaesthetics experience
- Recovery experience
- Have been employed in a surgical/Theatre setting
- Prepare the operating theatre/anaesthetic room for surgery in relation to instrumentation, equipment and supplies required for specific operative procedures
- Run a theatre list without supervision
- Supervise / mentor junior staff
- Perform anaesthetic duties
- Ensure waste is kept to a minimum
- Working in a challenging but rewarding environment
Desired Qualifications
