Job Summary
Guide, coach, and manage retail banking employees to deliver exceptional service while advising customers on products that meet their financial objectives. Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth, wallet share, and customer retention by conducting sales calls, building a personal referral network, and managing community involvement. Resolve complex customer issues, monitor sales performance against plans, and implement action plans to close gaps. Lead the branch by training staff, coordinating national initiatives, and independently analyzing data to inform strategic decisions and risk management. Maintain compliance with legal regulations and establish relationships with internal and external business partners to drive profitability.
Required Qualifications
- 4 - 6 years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Federal registration with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System and Registry
- In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services
- Advanced knowledge of competitive marketplace and trends in product offerings
- Working knowledge of branch operational processes and policies
- Working knowledge of branch technologies, processes, and performance metrics
- Working knowledge of applicable regulations, audit standards, and related policies, procedures, and directives
- Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience
- In-depth verbal & written communication skills
