Job Summary
Guide, direct, and coach employees to deliver exceptional service to BMO customers, advising them on products that meet their financial objectives. Develop and execute a branch business plan to maximize growth, wallet share, and customer retention while managing unit operating expenses and transactional outcomes. Conduct sales calls, establish referral networks, and resolve complex customer situations in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Monitor performance against plans, analyze data to identify gaps, and lead the implementation of new programs and processes within the branch. Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to enhance the Bank's visibility and community involvement.
Required Qualifications
- Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience
- post-secondary degree in related field of study
- equivalent combination of education and experience
- Previous supervisory or management experience - preferred
- In-depth knowledge of retail banking products and services
- Advanced knowledge of competitive marketplace and trends in product offerings
- Working knowledge of branch operational processes and policies
- Working knowledge of branch technologies, processes, and performance metrics
- Working knowledge of applicable regulations, audit standards, and related policies, procedures, and directives
- Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience
