Bank Equipment Technician

Job Summary
Maintain the appearance, functionality, and compliance of ATMs, kiosks, and banking equipment at customer locations by cleaning, inspecting, detailing, and performing minor refurbishments. Remove unauthorized signage, sanitize high-touch surfaces, and ensure debris-free work areas within a 10-foot radius. Conduct site surveys, alarm inspections, ADA compliance reviews, software updates, and lighting measurements while capturing detailed photographs of equipment and service work. Maintain accurate records, inventory, and project documentation. Travel to customer locations in a company vehicle to perform these duties across the Rapid, SD area and surrounding regions.
Required Qualifications
- Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with a willingness to learn
- Comfortable using smartphones and mobile technology
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to follow detailed written instructions and procedures
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to lift and move 50+ pounds regularly
- Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, and climb throughout the workday
- Ability to carry and safely use a 10-foot ladder
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to drive for extended periods as part of daily travel requirements
- Good hand-eye coordination and vision correctable to 20/20
Desired Qualifications
- Experience performing electrical work, equipment repairs, maintenance, or other field service work
- Trade school education, technical certification, or apprenticeship experience
