Job Summary
Bank Agile Product Owner Lead responsible for delivering the Bank product strategy and customer journeys by prioritizing and grooming the Bank agile team backlog, translating business needs into actionable user stories, and ensuring alignment with stakeholders. Drives data-driven decision making, sets OKRs, defines acceptance criteria, guides cross-functional teams (including Team-of-Team Leads) through SAFe/Agile processes, and champions a strong voice of the end-user. Leads efforts to improve delivery flow, manage risks and regulatory considerations, and continuously enhance product quality and member experience. Requires extensive experience in Agile/SAFe, banking domain knowledge, stakeholder management, and the ability to lead multi-team execution in a regulated environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience
- 8 years of experience in process improvement, project delivery, business/requirements analysis or related to supported business operations/product line
- Knowledge of multiple technical software delivery methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, SAFe)
- Experience analyzing business requirements, process flows and use cases to identify opportunities to streamline processes
- Experience with Process Engineering methodologies and Change Management practices
- Experience with banking regulatory and compliance policies
- Strong communication skills and ability to persuade senior stakeholders
- 3+ years leading ART-level execution health across multiple teams
- 2+ years resolving cross-team dependencies across platform functions
- 3+ years managing end-to-end defect and issue lifecycle
- 2+ years leading incident and outage response
- 3+ years improving execution readiness and quality practices
