Job Summary
Plan and deliver engaging wind, brass, and percussion music instruction for intermediate (5-6) and junior-senior high school (7-12) students, in collaboration with fellow music educators; prepare students for performances and school events while fostering musical growth through a variety of instructional approaches and materials; maintain regular communication with students, families, and staff regarding classroom activities, student progress, and upcoming events and performances using appropriate platforms. Knowledge of blended, project-based teaching methodologies and technology-based instruction and strong communication skills are required. Bachelor’s Degree and Indiana Secondary Teacher’s License in Fine Arts Instrumental & General Music P-12 Education (or pending licensure) are required; experience in a school environment preferred; willingness to sponsor an extracurricular group/team is a plus. Location: West Lafayette Junior-Senior High School; indoor classroom setting; typical school environment.

- Valid Indiana Secondary Teacher's License in Fine Arts – Instrumental & General Music P-12 Education or pending licensure
