Band Teacher

Band Teacher responsible for planning, organizing, and delivering instructional environments to help students develop in band and related music disciplines. Responsibilities include management of instructional time, management of student behavior, instructional presentation, monitoring of student performance, instructional feedback, facilitating instruction aligned with curricular goals, and collaborating with coworkers to maintain a productive learning environment. Demonstrates ability to prepare lessons with clear objectives, use diagnostic information to refine goals, provide constructive feedback, and maintain order and discipline while supporting student growth across music education activities. Minimum qualification includes a degree in education or related area eligible for licensure by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. Location: Tarboro, North Carolina (in-person).
