Band Teacher

Band Teacher to plan, organize and present instruction in music to students, overseeing instrumental and ensemble activities (band, chorus, instrumental groups). Responsibilities include developing and presenting lesson plans, managing instructional time and student behavior, delivering engaging instructional presentations, monitoring student performance, providing timely feedback, coordinating with teacher assistants as needed, and ensuring instructional plans align with school and district goals. Minimum qualification: a degree in education or a related area that qualifies for licensure by the North Carolina Department of Public Instruction. Strong classroom management, communication, and organizational skills are required to foster a productive learning environment.
