Band Saw Operator

Job Summary
Operate band saws and related equipment as part of entry-level plant service in Amcor RE&D. Regular responsibilities include operating forklifts, band saws, grinding/sanding equipment, unloading trucks, receiving and verifying materials through JobBOSS, and packaging parts for shipping. Maintain safety and regulatory compliance (OSHA) and perform basic maintenance; possess basic measuring and math skills and ability to read blueprints. Requires communication and teamwork, plus a valid driver’s license and basic computer skills. Required Qualifications
- Valid drivers license
- Basic knowledge of sawing equipment (preferred)
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- High level of initiative and self-direction (implied)
- Good mechanical knowledge and blueprint reading ability (implied)
