Job Summary
Perform echocardiograms and related diagnostic tests as a Locum Band 7 Echocardiographer in Edinburgh; analyse and interpret echocardiographic data, collaborate with cardiologists, maintain accurate patient records, and provide patient education while ensuring confidentiality. Essential qualifications include a BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent, BSE/EACVI/ARDMS accreditation, and proven echocardiography experience. The role is ongoing and offered as a temporary contract with a rate of £50–£60 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent
- Accredited by the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) or equivalent accreditation (EACVI/ARDMS)
- Proven experience as an Echocardiographer
- Experience in performing Echocardiograms
