Job Summary
Provide high-quality imaging support during cardiac catheterisation procedures in the cath lab; operate fluoroscopy-guided imaging equipment (fluoroscopy, angiography, and interventional radiology), ensuring optimal image quality while prioritising patient safety and comfort. Maintain accurate patient records, collaborate with cardiologists and multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with NHS protocols and radiation safety standards.
Required Qualifications
- HCPC registration (essential)
- Degree in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent
- Extensive experience in Cath Lab imaging and interventional radiology
- Strong communication and patient-handling skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
