Job Summary
Paediatric Dysphagia SLT needed for 3-6 month contract in Broxbourne, delivering assessment and therapy to children with speech and language disorders (dysphagia may be required) across mainstream and special schools. Travel between schools during the day; London transport used as car driving not possible. Expect seeing 3–6 children daily, meticulous record-keeping, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Requires HCPC registration and SLT degree with substantial paediatric dysphagia experience. Band 6/7 level responsibilities and a 37.5-hour work week at a daily rate of £375 (London-based placement).
Required Qualifications
- HCPC registration
- Bachelor’s degree in Speech and Language Therapy or a related field
- Extensive paediatric speech and language therapy experience, particularly in dysphagia
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and within a team
