Job Summary
Band 5 Pharmacy Technician required at Lambeth Hospital to support Medicines Management Technician (MMT) team in a mental health hospital. Responsibilities include medicines reconciliation for new admissions, ward-based clinical pharmacy support, maintaining accurate medication records, patient counselling on medicines, stock control and supply processes, and contributing to continuous quality improvement within the pharmacy service.
Required Qualifications
- Qualified Pharmacy Technician registered with the GPhC
- Med Rec (medicines reconciliation) experience is essential
- Proven experience as an MMT or within ward-based pharmacy services
- Previous work in mental health settings is highly desirable
- Hospital pharmacy experience required
