Job Summary
Aseptic Pharmacy Technician to prepare sterile products (including intravenous admixtures, cytotoxic drugs, and parenteral nutrition) within an aseptic environment, maintaining strict aseptic technique, SOP/GMP compliance, and quality assurance. Responsibilities include labeling, documentation, environmental monitoring, equipment checks, participation in validation and competency assessments, stock control, deviation reporting, collaboration with pharmacists and healthcare staff, and contributing to training and continuous quality improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Accredited Pharmacy Technician qualification (or equivalent)
- Registration with the relevant professional or regulatory body (where applicable)
- Experience in aseptic or cleanroom environment desirable
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques, GMP, and infection control principles
