Job Summary
Deliver high-quality nursing care in a busy Accident & Emergency department, assess and manage patients with acute emergencies, and work within a multidisciplinary team. Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation, adhere to NMC guidelines and governance standards, and respond calmly in high-pressure situations. The role emphasizes fast-paced, patient-centred care with opportunities for ongoing training and development. Requirements include valid NMC registration, 6+ months A&E experience, two professional references, DBS and Occupational Health clearance, right-to-work in the UK, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NMC registration
- Minimum of 6 months’ recent A&E experience within the last 12 months
- Ability to provide two professional references covering the previous 3 years
- Compliance with DBS and Occupational Health clearance
- Proof of right to work in the UK
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care
