Job Summary
The Ops Support Specialist 5 is an entry-level position responsible for providing operations support services, including record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and the opening of accounts in coordination with the Operations - Core Team. Serves as liaison between operations staff, relationship managers, project managers, custodians and clients. Provides day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support infrastructure and processes. Responsibilities include resolving customer inquiries and supervising escalated issues, offering value-added products/services within regulatory boundaries, daily communication with management on productivity/quality/MIS indicators, facilitating staff training, supporting a broad array of products/services, assisting with Lean and process-improvement projects, and risk assessment to ensure compliance with laws and internal policy. Skills emphasized include problem-solving, communication (written and verbal), teamwork, analytical thinking, and the ability to work with Pega and/or G36 systems. Education requirement is a high school diploma or equivalent, with potential weekend availability for COB testing and releases.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of relevant experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Comprehensive knowledge of Dispute process
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to work occasional weekends to support Pega releases and COB testing
- Working knowledge of Pega and/or G36 functionality
- Demonstrated analytical skills
- Consistently clear and concise written and verbal communication skills
- Education: High School diploma or equivalent
