Job Summary
Lead restaurant operations at PDX airport, mentoring team members to ensure exceptional service and smooth daily functions. Monitor budgets, manage supplies to minimize waste, and track hours and portion control. Address issues proactively before they escalate while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and visual appeal standards. Train staff on menu items to drive sales growth and share guest insights for continuous improvement. Foster a welcoming environment where every guest feels valued and team morale is supported through recognition and feedback.
Required Qualifications
- 6 months of experience in a busy restaurant or operations setting
- Supervisory experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Excellent time management skills
- Valid food safety (Food Worker Card) and alcohol serving (Mandatory Alcohol Server Training) cards
- Ability to pass an airport background check
- Physically able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must be available for 2pm-10pm, Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday/Saturday
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
