Job Summary
Senior AI Operations & Automation Manager combines automation engineering, AI implementation, and operational strategy to drive leverage for multiple portfolio companies. You’ll design, build, and maintain high-level automation workflows using n8n, Make.com, and Zapier; analyze and redesign processes to maximize ROI; build AI-powered agents for tasks like automated email handling, complex document generation, and internal support systems; integrate AI solutions into the existing stack (ClickUp, CRMs, email systems, dashboards); ensure robust, scalable automations with thorough documentation; and act as a strategic consultant to the founder, prioritizing initiatives by business value.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in automation, operations engineering, or AI-integrated systems
- Strong hands-on experience with n8n or Make.com
- Comfortable with APIs, webhooks, and complex system integrations
- Proven experience building AI agents or RAG-based chatbots for real-world operational use cases
- Ability to translate abstract business problems into concrete technical solutions
- High familiarity with ClickUp or similar enterprise-grade project management tools
- Self-starter with accountability from conception to deployment
