Job Summary

Provide triage, first aid, and referrals to outside medical providers for injured construction workers while analyzing tasks for potential safety hazards. Maintain medical records and on-site inventory supplies, restock equipment, and conduct daily activity logs for the safety and management teams. Perform frequent site walks to interact with workers and managers, communicate with outside providers on injury progression, and coordinate annual or quarterly health fairs. Participate in safety awareness meetings and the workers' compensation process. Requires one year of 911 emergency medical experience, valid EMT-B certification, and ability to lift 35 lbs and stand for five hours.

Required Qualifications

  • One year of full-time experience in 911 emergency medical response
  • Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 35 lbs.
  • Ability to walk and/or stand a minimum of five hours in a workday
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Minimum of a valid National Registry or State EMT-B Certification
  • Valid CPR certification at the Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider level (American Heart Association) or Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • All employment offers are contingent upon acceptable pre-employment drug tests

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working with OSHA regulations, specifically in 29 CFR 1910
  • Experience working on large-scale construction sites
  • Experience with the workers' compensation claim process
  • Instructor certification for First Aid, CPR, and AED training
  • An active OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 card
