Job Summary

Monitor and maintain vessel stability by interfacing with all operations and disciplines that impact stability. Perform mooring operations, adjust moorings as needed, and manage boat and helicopter logistics. Conduct regulatory audits, inspections, and maintenance of life-saving and fire-fighting equipment. Monitor environmental conditions, weather, and the collision avoidance system while maintaining marine logs and maintenance records. Ensure the vessel's state of readiness for damage control and damage stability. Work a 14x14 schedule out of a terminal in Galliano, LA, with an active ballast license and BCO experience required.

Required Qualifications

  • Authorization to work lawfully in the US without sponsorship from Wood
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 1-3 years of BCO experience on a floating production platform
  • Active ballast license

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate's degree (AA) or equivalent from two-year college or technical college
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years' BCO experience
  • Active ballast license
