Job Summary
Run baler machines to compress and bind metal products while maintaining a clean, orderly work area and following prescribed safety guidelines. Safely lift and manoeuvre materials, recycle production waste at designated locations, and keep equipment in good condition. This role requires a forklift licence and experience operating balers, with a rotating shift pattern covering mornings and evenings. The position offers a temp-to-permanent opportunity with £10.32ph PAYE, 23 days holiday, and benefits, within a growing manufacturing business in North-West Cumbria.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift experience
- FLT / Fork lift truck licence
- Ability to safely perform the essential functions of the job
- Safely lift and/or manoeuvre materials
- Ability to work within a fast-paced, repetitive work environment
