Job Summary
Maintain baler equipment and keep surrounding areas clean, including wire supply spools and plant floors. Clean scrap, empty trash cans, and manage the pit at the scrap conveyor for the shredder. Perform minor maintenance, troubleshoot equipment issues, and assist the Maintenance Department with miscellaneous projects. Perform and maintain records required for GMPs while supporting continuous safety and improvement efforts. Work a full-time 12-hour shift on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 4:45 am to 5:00 pm, with mandatory overtime and schedule variations. This role requires lifting up to 100 lbs and operating in a loud, uncontrolled temperature manufacturing environment.
