Job Summary
Prepare bakery products for store customers by combining measured ingredients, managing dough rising, and operating mixers and ovens. Check finished goods for quality, identify damaged or expired items, and maintain a clean, safe environment. Perform heavy lifting of ingredient bags and bowls while ensuring all equipment meets health and safety regulations before and after each shift. This role requires a state-approved Food Handler certification and the use of heavy machinery.
Required Qualifications
- State approved Food Handler certification
- Ability to operate heavy machinery such as mixers and other bakery machines
- Ability to perform heavy lifting of ingredient bags and bowls
- Ability to work in areas where non slip shoes are required
- Ability to check bakery equipment to ensure it meets health and safety regulations
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment
