Bakery Production Manager

Job Summary
Create production schedules and oversee quality control throughout the entire baking process. Conduct daily reconciliation of all mix recipes and case counts in Flexibake, while managing inventory and notifying shipping of raw material needs. Direct the sanitation team, coach staff through performance management, and handle disciplinary conversations as appropriate. Ensure all production is completed by required deadlines and maintain compliance with GMP and SQF standards. Work on your feet for up to 12 hours, standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs. in a fast-paced environment. Flexible hours, overtime, and Saturdays are required. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Flexibility to work varying hours, overtime, and Saturdays as needed
- Proficiency in all production processes and stations
- Proficiency in the adjustment and programming of all bakery equipment
- Proficiency in all proper sanitation standards for bakery equipment
- Previous baking experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment is required
- Be - Self-disciplined, composed, outgoing, pleasant, polite, well-mannered, neat and clean in appearance (in uniform)
- Have - Strong initiative, leadership qualities, a positive demeanor, and a voice of reason
- Act - With integrity in all aspects of the job and hold people accountable to that same standard
- Be able to work on your feet for long periods of time (up to 12 hours)
- Position requires prolonged standing, bending, stooping, twisting, and lifting products and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs., as well as repetitive hand and wrist motion
