Job Summary
The Bakery Plant Material Handler-Night Shift operates powered industrial vehicles/equipment to transport, load and unload raw materials and finished products in the bakery meal production process. Responsibilities include following standard operating procedures, inspecting and safely operating powered equipment, assisting with inventory and housekeeping, regulating material blending to achieve product consistency, unloading trailers, and performing tasks in line with the site's Environmental Management System policies. The role requires reading safety and maintenance documents in English, potential 50-hour weeks including nights/holidays/weekends, and the ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Prior experience operating heavy equipment and obtaining related certifications is preferred. High School Diploma or GED is preferred; allergen awareness (e.g., peanuts) is noted. The position is based in Greenville, SC, and relocation is not offered for this post.
