Job Summary
The Bakery Manager is responsible for directing and supervising all functions of the bakery department, ensuring compliance with safety and sanitation standards, and managing inventory control to maintain product quality and freshness. Key responsibilities include following merchandising plans, ordering supplies, scheduling and supervising staff, greeting customers, and promoting positive employee relations. The position requires strong communication and math skills, as well as dexterity for packaging products and the ability to lift heavy items.
