Bakery Manager

Job Summary
Direct and supervise all functions of the bakery department, ensuring overall direction and leadership. Follow merchandising plans, maintain inventory control, and ensure product quality and freshness. Enforce policies for receiving and restocking, assist with shrink control, and effectively schedule and supervise employees. Maintain compliance with safety and sanitation regulations, manage records and reports, and oversee baking and production processes. Provide customer service and promote positive employee relations. Capable of cake decoration is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Must have math skills at a level that would enable accurate counting of merchandise.
- Must have strong communications skills.
- Must have dexterity of hands to enable bagging and packaging of products.
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds up to fifty percent (50%) of the time.
