Job Summary
The Bakery Manager will direct and supervise all functions of the bakery department, ensuring compliance with company policies related to safety, sanitation, and product quality. Key responsibilities include managing inventory control, enforcing product rotation policies, scheduling and supervising department employees, and overseeing the baking and general production processes. The role requires the ability to maintain budgets related to sales distribution and labor control, as well as provide customer service and promote positive employee relations. The position involves cake decoration and may require assistance with unloading merchandise.
Required Qualifications
- Must have math skills at a level that would enable accurate counting of merchandise
- Must have strong communications skills
- Must have dexterity of hands to enable bagging and packaging of products
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds up to fifty percent (50%) of the time.
