Job Summary
Responsible for directing and supervising all functions of the bakery department, including following merchandising plans, inventory control, and ensuring product quality. The role involves enforcing company policies, scheduling and supervising department employees, maintaining compliance with safety and sanitation regulations, monitoring product freshness, overseeing baking production, training new employees, and promoting customer service and positive employee relations. Must be capable of decorating cakes.
Required Qualifications
- Must have math skills at a level that would enable accurate counting of merchandise.
- Must have strong communications skills.
- Must have dexterity of hands to enable bagging and packaging of products.
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds up to fifty percent (50%) of the time.
