Job Summary
Direct all Bakery Deli employees while maintaining, cleaning, and ensuring proper signage in the department. Pull and rotate items, manage the salad and hot case, and work with the Pricing Coordinator to ensure pricing integrity. Efficiently schedule team members, complete orders, monitor sales and labor, and obtain credits from AWG and vendors. Train staff on safe food handling standards, answer questions, and develop the team while complying with all company policies, dress codes, and required training. Maintain safety guidelines and report missing equipment. This role requires lifting 60 lb. boxes and exerting frequent force, with good vision and hearing.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes
- Good, corrected vision
- Good, corrected hearing
- Ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
