Job Summary
Direct all Bakery Deli employees while maintaining, cleaning, and ensuring proper signage in the department. Pull and rotate items, manage salad and hot cases, and collaborate with the Pricing Coordinator to ensure pricing integrity. Efficiently schedule team members, complete orders, monitor sales and labor, and obtain credits from vendors. Train staff on safe food handling standards, enforce company policies including dress code, and ensure compliance with all safety guidelines and equipment requirements. This medium work involves lifting 60 lb. boxes, using sharp instruments, and working on floors that may become slippery.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift 60 lb. boxes on occasion
- Must be able to exert 25-60 lbs. of force frequently
- Must be able to exert 10-20 lbs. of force constantly
- Must have dexterous use of both hands
- Must be able to stand and move about to various workstations
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and pull items
- Must be able to use knives and other sharp instruments utilized in the preparation of food items and/or removing product from boxes
- Must have good, corrected vision
- Must have hearing
- Must have the ability to work on floors that sometimes become slippery
