Job Summary
The Bakery Manager leads the Bakery Department in producing high-quality baked goods while delivering exceptional customer service and strong financial results. Responsibilities include overseeing production (baking, decorating, product preparation), inventory and shrink management, merchandising, and staff development. Focus areas include maintaining freshness, presentation, food safety, and compliance, coaching and scheduling bakery associates, and driving department sales through quality products and effective merchandising.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous bakery, food service, or retail management experience preferred
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Knowledge of bakery operations, production, and decorating techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a flexible schedule
