Job Summary
Perform routine inspections of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, lighting); repair and maintain facility structures; ensure proper operation of heating, cooling, and ventilation systems; maintain grounds and exterior areas as needed; troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues; perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment; replace or repair defective components to minimize downtime; ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations; maintain a safe and clean work environment; identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions; assist during emergency situations and facility breakdowns.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2–4+ years of maintenance or facilities experience
- GMP/HACCP Certificate (in-house), sit- down & stand-up forklift certified, boom/scissor lift certified
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- Basic computer skills (CMMS experience a plus)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing, and working around industrial equipment.
