Job Summary
Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of all bakery production equipment, including mechanical and electrical components. Minimize downtime by maintaining equipment productivity and responding to line stoppage calls with urgency. Provide emergency repairs, ensure work areas meet GMP standards, and maintain accurate records of work orders and parts requests. Perform duties across all maintenance areas while providing technical assistance to the Chief Engineer and making recommendations. Work any shift, including holidays, in a high-temperature environment supporting fast-paced machinery, joining the union within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to work any day, including holidays, or any shift
- Must have reliable attendance to meet employer's attendance standards for 24/7 production facility
- Must join union within 30 days of hire

- Forklift license or ability to obtain one
Desired Qualifications
- LME license
- PLC experience, including but not limited to connecting, programming & troubleshooting
- Previous experience in similar production line equipment and facilities at a large commercial or artisan bakery
- Previous experience in other similar equipment maintenance of industrial, manufacturing or production-line equipment
