Job Summary
Prepare and produce bakery products according to the production planner, then package, label, and merchandise items per flight plan. Stock the backroom with rotating and dated cases and buckets, notifying the bakery manager when supplies need ordering. Work with other departments to achieve store growth while adhering to PPE, safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines. Communicate tasks, recipes, weights, and cleaning steps to associates. Perform basic math functions and lift up to 30 pounds frequently.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma (GED) preferred
- One year of retail or related experience preferred
- Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents
- Basic mathematical skills
- Detail Oriented
- May be required to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds frequently, and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- The associate is required to stand and walk for extended periods of time and may bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
- While performing the duties of this position, the employee is subject to a typical retail store environment (varied temperatures) and is exposed to outside weather conditions
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate
- Travel requirements vary by assignment
