BAKERY/DELI MANAGER

Develop department atmosphere focused on creating and exceeding highest customer service, safety, and cleanliness goals. Manage associates to maximize productivity by communicating job-specific information and encouraging targets for sales, gross profit, and shrink. Prepare and package deli items using all equipment according to guidelines, while merchandising to stay current with ads and seasonal trends. Oversee inventory taking, maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers, and ensure health department and store safety procedures are followed. Gain and maintain knowledge of products, train associates, and report safety risks, illegal activity, or accidents to management.
