Job Summary
Bakery/Deli Manager overseeing Bakery/Deli operations, supervising 7-30 employees, interviewing and hiring, ordering supplies, and handling paperwork. Performs diverse food preparation tasks (frying chicken, doughnuts, baking breads and cakes), slicing meats and cheeses, stocking shelves, taking phone orders, wrapping and pricing products, handling payments and making change, and maintaining cleanliness. Responsible for meeting budgeted sales and profit objectives, directing staff performance, ensuring quality control, merchandising, customer service, and adherence to company policies. Includes staff training, scheduling, and ensuring accurate reports and forms.
