Job Summary
Bakery/Deli Clerk responsible for bakery/deli department operations including readiness, staffing, supervision, price maintenance, policies and procedures, inventory preparation, department financial goals, cleanliness, and safe use of equipment; manage replenishment, invoicing, and back stock; maintain merchandising standards, signage, and displays; support fresh food preparation and production with emphasis on food safety; uphold SMILE program for customer hospitality; demonstrate integrity, professionalism, teamwork, and a customer-focused approach to exceed expectations while aligning with Harps’ mission; requires ability to interpret instructions, adapt to changing priorities, and comply with safety and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent preferred.
- No previous work experience required.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
- Moves, lifts, carries and places merchandise and supplies weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance.
