Job Summary
Obtains requested Deli or Bakery items for customers, wraps or packages items, uses cash register to total order, accepts payment and makes change. While working in Deli, will fry chicken, jo jo's, burritos, put chicken on rotisserie in oven for baking. Also makes sandwiches, salads, pizzas, popcorn, cotton candy, slice meats or cheese on a slicer. While working in Bakery will slice bread and package bakery products. Also stocks and cleans Deli/Bakery areas as needed. Essential functions include using hands to handle tools, standing 4-8 hours, using suggestive selling techniques to educate customers to products, locating products, preparing to desired request, pricing, labeling and packaging, cooking hot foods, making sandwiches/salads/pizzas, slicing meats/cheeses, using intercom to alert customers, keeping stations clean and sanitary, restocking and garnishing as needed, and handling money/change. Desired, non-essential functions include duties of frying or baking staff and cake decorator. You must have references and a resume; this is for evenings and weekends; you must be over 18.
