Job Summary
Provide direction and supervision to Bakery Utility Clerks and manage daily operations in the absence of the Bakery Supervisor. Perform all aspects of decorating, including finishing, inspecting, preparing, and cutting baked goods, while assisting in new product development and special orders. Maintain efficient stock levels through ordering, receiving, inventory management, and display stocking. Ensure customer service quality by handling inquiries and complaints, while strictly adhering to Occupational Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Environmental regulations. Conduct general cleanup duties to keep sales floors and back stock areas organized.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 or an acceptable combination of education and experience
- Combination of bakery and decorating training and experience
- Must pass in-house Bakery Decorator testing
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory experience
- S.A.I.T. or Wilton Decorating course or equivalent experience
