Job Summary
Prepare and package all baked goods including cookies, bread, and muffins while assisting the Bakery Manager in pricing and merchandising. Provide high-level customer service by answering phones, taking special orders, and ensuring items are properly presented. Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary department by cleaning shelves, floors, and equipment, removing hazardous debris, and discarding outdated products. Receive, inspect, and log shipments for accuracy, temperature, and quality. Operate knives, scales, wrappers, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to weigh, label, and transfer items up to 40 lbs. Adhere to food safety regulations and maintain a Food Handlers permit.
Required Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years Bakery experience

- and vertically/horizontally transferring items up to 40 lbs., from 5" to 36", for a distance up to 36 feet for up to 10 hours without mechanical assistance
- Adhere to all safety, health, and Weights and Measures regulations
- achieving and maintaining a Food Handlers permit
