Job Summary
The Bakery Clerk is responsible for maintaining the Bakery Department, ensuring shelves are presentable and well-stocked, controlling product freshness, wrapping and pricing products accurately, and upholding cleanliness standards. Customer service is key, requiring prompt and courteous interactions with customers. Additional tasks include answering phones, taking special orders, assisting in baking, and helping receive deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- Must have strong communication skills to provide adequate customer service.
- Must have dexterity in hands to wrap and package products.
- Must be able to read and write to properly tag and price the products.
- Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds as needed.
