Job Summary
Provide polite greetings to all guests and prepare products for sale through baking, weighing, and pricing. Maintain product levels, quality, and freshness while upholding sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area, and sales zone. Perform cake decorating when requested, assist with product receiving and storage, and execute front-end duties to ensure no noticeable wait times. Announce specials and sale information via the PA system and communicate guest requests or temperature breakdowns to management. Work part-time hours in a flexible, entertaining environment at Lowes Foods.
Required Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to read and understand information and direction
- Effective communication, guest service and selling skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time
