Job Summary
Greet guests, prepare baked goods for sale by baking, weighing, and pricing, and maintain product levels and freshness. Perform cake decorating when requested, enforce sanitation standards in coolers and prep areas, and keep supply zones tidy. Communicate guest requests and temperature breakdowns to management, execute front-end duties to ensure minimal wait times, and announce specials on the PA system. Assist with product receiving and storage. This role supports the bakery department at Lowes Foods, a family-owned company offering flexible schedules and weekly pay options.
Required Qualifications
- Friendly, outgoing personality
- Ability to work well with others
- Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally
- Ability to read and understand information and direction
- Effective communication, guest service and selling skills
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time
