Job Summary
Prepare, package, price, and stock bakery products while frosting and decorating cakes. Maintain and display all inventory according to standards, provide proper equipment maintenance, and ensure adherence to sanitation and hygiene policies. Advise the manager on inventory replenishment and mark-down reports. Deliver outstanding customer service and adhere to all co-op policies and procedures. This seasonal position requires constant standing and lifting up to 50 lbs, with flexible hours including weekends and holidays until September 26, 2026.
Required Qualifications
- Be dependable for all scheduled shifts
- Come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude
- Provide outstanding courteous customer service
- Be familiar with and adhere to all Tofino Co-op policies and procedures
- Be familiar with and adhere to all sanitation and personal hygiene policies of the co-op and government legislation
- Must be willing to work a variety of hours, including weekends and holidays based on the needs of the business
Desired Qualifications
- A secondary school diploma is preferred
- Previous retail experience is considered an asset
- Food preparation experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Attention to detail
