Job Summary
Bakery Clerk for Hy-Vee in Liberty, MO. Responsibilities include providing prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service at the bakery counter; taking customer orders; reviewing daily orders; preparing, replenishing, and presenting bakery products; maintaining clean, sanitary workspaces and following proper sanitation procedures; operating the department’s cash register and handling payments; collaborating with team members to ensure customer satisfaction; managing production lists and inventory to ensure adequate product availability; and supporting overall store operations with a team-focused, service-oriented approach.
Required Qualifications
- Less than High school or equivalent experience and six months or less of similar or related work experience
- Ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions; basic arithmetic for checkout and inventory
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 pounds, as needed) and handle routine store duties
