Job Summary
Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer needs timely and effectively while multitasking between daily production and service. Monitor stock levels in backrooms, display cases, and tables, rotating products using the FIFO method and checking expiration dates for food safety. Take orders for events and holidays, learning specialized products like fruit tarts and cannoli. Operate equipment including box cutters, knives, cash registers, espresso machines, ovens, and mixers safely. Prepare, assemble, fill, and decorate cakes, tarts, and pastries for in-house and special-order items based on customer preferences. Work in a fast-paced environment, lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally, standing, walking, and reaching for up to 8 hours daily.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be able to regularly lift about 10 to 20 lbs.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Must be able to stand up to 8 hours per day
- Must be able to walk up to 8 hours per day
- Must be able to reach and bend up to 8 hours per day
- Must act with honesty and integrity regarding customers and company policies
- Must protect the safety of oneself, co-workers, and customers at all times
