Job Summary
Provide excellent customer service at the bakery counter and other areas as needed. Ensure the daily baking of goods based upon production guidelines. Set and maintain the baked goods case and sales floor, including product placement, signage, and rotation for freshness. Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and overall organization of the department. This fast-paced role requires standing and on-foot activity throughout the workday, with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform bending, reaching, and squatting motions.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend, reach, stoop, kneel and squat
- Must be able to push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads
- Must be able to stand and be on one's feet during the workday
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience baking or cooking in a restaurant, bakery or catering environment preferred
- Experience working in a retail and/or customer service-oriented environment preferred
