Job Summary
Packages, labels, and prices bakery products; maintains stock levels and product quality by monitoring dates, appearance, and storage temperature controls. Duties include stocking and rotating baked goods, assisting with preparing, packaging, labeling, maintaining product displays, promoting sales through suggestive selling, stacking pallets, and ensuring a safe, clean, and customer-friendly environment. Requires ability to read and operate digital scales and equipment, use of a bread slicer and commercial oven, and ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays. Food Handler certification required; typically involves on-the-job training. Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 years of age
- Food Handler certification required
- 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy
- Experience related to bakery or retail environment preferred
